The Tsunami hit Sri Lanka on a December 26.2004 at around 9.30 am.About 2500 km east of the island of Sumatra. 200 km 10 km of the west coast. The Tsunami affected many children and parents in many families, which had a devastating effect on families. Furthermore, those who made a living on their own have to face various problems as they have to move towards new sources of the livelihoods they had been living with confidence till then.
