 More than 350 people have been killed in bombings of Christian churches and leading tourist hotels in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday.




This is the worst violent attack on Sri Lanka since the end of the civil war a decade ago. The majority of the dead were Sri Lankans. Thirty-eight foreigners have also been killed in the attacks.
The facts are as follows:
The first reported attack was on Sunday, April 21, at around 8:45 am. Six eruptions were reported within a short period of time.



These include the Kochchikade Church in Colombo, the Katuwapitiya Church in Katana, a church in the Batticaloa area and tourist hotels in Colombo such as Shangri-La, Kingsbury and Cinnamon Ground.

Sankapala Raja Maha Viharaya 🙏🙏

 Sankapala Raja Maha Viharaya is located at the foot of a scenic hill near Pallebedda town on the Ratnapura Embilipitiya road. There are about 15 caves in this area.
